This performance was done in co-operation by Ai weiwei and yang Zhichao .
An object chosen by Ai weiwei and was implanted permanently into Yang's right leg through surgery .The nature of this object will not be revealed to yang and others. The Whole course lasted 45 minutes.

The iron heated and put against my back wich left marks of my ID number
At 11:00 A.M.on 9th October 2000,along stool sized 160X40X40cm with style of Qing dynasty was put in the atudio of artist Ai weiwei in Cao Changdi village in Beijing”£My torso naked, I lied on the stoll with my face down, special iron(500w) was heated by electricity for about 5 minutes£¬ it left marks on my back..

Explanation: at 10:00 A.M. on November 5/2000, second floor of No.1133, Suzhou road Shanghai where "Fuck off" was on show, I made an operation platform with 200X80X78cm, an operational scalpel was incised into my left scapula by a surgeon. Without any anesthesia, the scalpel made 2 cuts with 1 centimeter deep and 1 centimeter wide. Afterwards, grass picked at the banks of Suzhou River was plant into the two cuts.
